Wisconsin Aesthetic
provider Coalition
Wisconsin Aesthetic Provider Coalition (WAPC) is the collaboration between aesthetic medicine practices in the state of Wisconsin.
We have a shared mission of establishing regulations and standards of practice in our industry along with elevating and defining the scope of medical aesthetics.
Our goal is to promote excellence and safety in the care of our patients.
We aim to ask more challenging questions that will impact our industry. Questions such as what the educational standards should be versus solely meeting licensing requirements.
WAPC is taking a future-focused approach to building a collaborative over competitive environment within medical aesthetic practices in the state of Wisconsin.
WISco APC - Wisconsin aesthetic provider coalition group
Passion and years of education and experience fuel this desire for comprehensive standards for
regulation within the medical aesthetic industry. Joining forces with other like-minded, education
focused practice founders and industry leaders demonstrates our commitment to ensuring that
safety measure, protocols and continuing education are essential requirements for all providers.
Educational standards:
We believe educational standards need to be established in our industry. Since we are not traditionally taught medical aesthetics in nursing or medical school. Even for aestheticians - medical aesthetics/master aesthetician programs are not standard in most states. it requires additional specialty education to become a safe and competent aesthetic Provider.
the future of our industry:
Our industry is continually evolving. So must our regulations and educational standards.
Wisconsin aesthetic Providers have become comfortable living in the “grey zone” that is medical aesthetics; this is about to change. WAPC aims to be at the forefront of that change. We need to become a collaborative voice on educational and compliance standards to protect our scope of practice rights, careers, and businesses.
